The SMA was founded at Lyons, France on 8th December 1856
by Mgr Melchior de Marion Brésillac. Faithfully following in the footsteps of our Founder, the SMA missionaries in Kenya continue to be a ray of hope, shining the light of Christ among the people we serve and especially the most abandoned.
